2005 Scholarship Winners Announced!

20 June 05 - Voted to purchase a 40 foot long storage container for use of the athletic department & other departments at a cost of $2,200.00.
Also, granted $1,100.00 to the Fine Arts Department to send four students to a two-week art camp in Cockeysville during July 05.

16 May 05 - Voted to purchase two pieces of training equipment for the football program at a cost of $4,480.00.

12 NOV 04 - Purchased a $50.00 White Marsh Mall Gift Card to be used as a prize for the Miss SPHS Contest.

20 SEP 04 - During the September meeting, the Alumni Association voted to provide $580.00 to fund an edition of the Pointer Newspaper.  This will allow the English Department to print approximately 2,000 issues with about 12 pages per issue.  The Pointer is distributed to all students & faculty free of charge.
Also, the Alumni Association voted to contribute $1,000.00 for the purpose of sending two teachers to a 4-day conference in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The Chairperson of the English Department, Allison Blandeburgo, requested this amount with the intent being that these teachers will learn about the new Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and return to the school with the ability to "train-the-trainers" in what will be expected of our students when they take the SAT.

On March 18th, 2004, Alumni Association President Larry Leone presents SPHS Athletic Director Russ Lingner with a $5,000.00 check.  AD Lingner will use this money to purchase both home and away uniforms for the Boy's & Girl's Varsity Soccer Teams in time for the Fall 2004 season.
