For the first time in over 30-years, the track at Sparrows Point High School is being replaced. The track reconstruction is estimated around $250,000, and will have a state of the art surface. It will provide much more cushion for the athletes as they run, thereby causing less stress on the legs. Hopefully with the new track we may be able to host a regional meet. It will also be a welcome addition to the many local residents that enjoy it. |
