If a Cub Scout has completed the first grade (or is 8 years old) he may begin working on his 12 Wolf achievements. To earn the Wolf rank a Cub Scout must complete 49 tasks out of a possible 62 tasks that are offered in the book. A scout receives 1 bead for every three achievements he completes. After he earns all four beads he will be awarded the rank of Wolf. He can also earn arrow points for doing the Wolf electives. If a scout finishes 10 electives he will receive a gold arrow point. Each 10 electives he completes after that will earn him a silver arrow point. |
